Fr. Brad was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Elmhurst, Queens, New York and in Fifth Grade his family moved to Hallandale, Florida. He graduated from Chaminade High School in Hollywood, FL and from Biscayne College in Miami. Fr. Brad was in the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in Washington, D.C. and graduated from Oblate College with a Masters in Divinity. He is a certified Chaplain completing over 2,000 hours of Chaplaincy Training with the NACC and ACPE. He was invited by Bishop Hanifen to come to the Diocese of Colorado Springs and has been here for 23 years. He has served as a seminarian/candidate for Ordination to the Priesthood at Holy Trinity Parish and Holy Apostles Parish. On August 15, 1999 he was ordained as a Transitional Deacon by Bishop Hanifen and on December 18th he was ordained to the Priesthood by Bishop Hanifen. His first assignment was at Holy Apostles Parish as Parochial Vicar. He has served as Pastor of Saint Patrick Parish for seven years and as Pastor of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish in Castle Rock for 12 years. On July 1, 2020 he was assigned here as Pastor. For all of his diaconate and priesthood he has served as a Fire Department Chaplain and has been privileged to volunteer with the Colorado Springs Fire Department and serves as a chaplain for a number of Fire Departments. He is as one of the chaplains for the Parker Police Department. He has two dogs – Simi and Dulcimer. He has two Sisters who live in Florida, Gail and Ruth Ann and lots of friends. He is a past State Chaplain for the Knights of Columbus. Work wise he worked for the Coca-Cola Bottling company to pay his way for college, Little General/Circle K Convenience Stores in Store Operations and Human Resource Management, Tri County TEC as a Job Coach helping people with disabilities find and maintain jobs and as a Chaplain for The Hospice of the Treasure Coast.
