Deacon Dave Camous, Parish DirectorI was born in San Francisco, CA, the fifth of six children in an Irish/French Catholic family. My wife, Rosie, and I married in 1987, and we have two children, Danielle (born in 1991) and Brendan (born in 1993). My family and I moved to Colorado Springs in 1992, while I was working with Hewlett-Packard. I have served the Church as a lay minister for all of my life, prior to being ordained. Principle ministries included music ministry, proclaimer, extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, RCIA Director, and Youth Ministry team member. Served for several years on Pastoral Councils and was the Chairman of the Capital Campaign for the new Ministry Center at Mt. St. Francis. Invited by Bishop Hanifen, I began the four-year formation for the Diaconate in 1998, and was ordained a Permanent Deacon on June 1, 2002. Shortly thereafter, I chose to leave my career and industry and work full time for the Church.
